Did they start offering the Exynos Note 3 last year? From what I noticed, with the S3 and S4 they 1st offered Exynos due to S3 only coming in Exynos internationally initially with the LTE coming later in the year, with the S4 they 1st got Exynos due to Samsung only bringing Exynos into SA but later brought Snapdragon, after that with the Note 3, S5 and Note 4, they seem to stick with Snapdragon only.

I don't think so, only the Snapdrizzle fo shizzle.

S3 they sold only the Exynos version initially, and that has no LTE (still have mine). They brought in a different S3 with LTE shortly before (or after) the S4 was released.

Anyway, the point is they bring in only 1 model, sometimes the Snapdragon, sometimes the Exynos. Ever both at the same time.

Haha, foshizzle!

The S3 LTE came in late 2012, I remember a friend of mine got it and I was super jealous of that extra 1GB RAM as I had the I9300, then I broke my S3 in early 2013 and I was faced with the decision of either getting a S3 LTE, Note 2 LTE OR waiting for the newer S4, I waited for the S4 which came a month later.

Now that I think back, I should have jumped on the Note wagon and got a Note 2 LTE at that time.

Sure, here is where I generally am by the time I head to bed:

This is what my battery life looks like, and today has been slow...... Anyone else experiencing so much usage from 'Google services'. I think this is causing my problem

The started off with the Exynos. I got one. Think the LTE Snapdragon only came about 2 months later to Vodacom.

I'm not getting anything near that. Can you post a screen shot of your bat usage at the end of the day?

I am connected to WiFi at work for about 8 hours and when I leave I have only used about 7% battery for the day.
Not heavy usage but a few calls and checking email all day.

Same as my old Note2.

The Note 4 Gold is exclusive to MTN for now.

I cannot see Voda getting the N910C at any point TBH, as part of them getting the N910F is due to LTE Cat.6, they will be promoting their 'faster LTE' with it I'm sure and in that area the N910C is behind as it is LTE Cat.4 like the iPhone 6/6Plus.

BTW, for any of you planning on getting a Gear VR, you will have to get the N910F (Snapdragon) Note 4, it has the more powerful GPU and runs VR far better than the Exynos, apparently due to the Exynos having the less powerful Mali GPU, it cannot run VR well.

A lot of the benchmarks show differently, that the gpus perform similar and some the exynos better, cpu-wise the exynos pretty much always wins

This then proves that performance in benchmarks is not indicative of real world performance and that optimization counts a lot more.

So far the exynos note 4 is running miles around my old snapdragon note 3. People are stuck in their old ways when the exynos was crap in the s4, the new ones are damn good

You do realise what I said WRT Gear VR is something pretty much confirmed by Oculus and Samsung? The thing doesn't run well on any of the Exynos variants.

I would hope your Note 4 performs much better than your Note 3, as otherwise there would be a big problem.

Yea.. since the vr was developed for the snapdragon version, the exynos needs a fw update before the vr works

Who is planning to get the Gear VR? I am seriously considering getting it when it finally gets to SA.
