Yoh, that's one of the worst apps I have installed. It's only purpose is to try and get you purchase other apps.
Avast is much better than this.
You are entitled to your opinion but that's a harsh statement. They ask you to install this and that application once in a while. I can live with that. Also...

Hi all - I'm very much a noob that uses the very basics of a phone but still wants the top shelf stuff :D

Currently have a Note 2 which I absolutely love, but I'm giving it to my Daughter in Feb as promised, and will need a new one. I'll never go back to a 'normal' smartphone if I can help it.

I have a 1GB bundle on my current phone and it's just about enough for what I do (surfing, forums, very occasional YouTube) but I'm wondering; if I get the LTE Note 4, and without changing my Internet behavior, will it automatically use more data being lte, or is it just faster?

This is assuming I would have lte coverage I guess....

I have no wifi at home or work, but any major updates I can do at my Dad's place (provided I mow the lawn weekly hehe).

He just got a Note 4, enjoys it a lot but has major call issues with it Vodacom, Irene Centurion area) where he'll get up to 10 missed calls come through for the past half hour, where it never even rang... He didn't have that problem with his old S3..

Well generally you use more data on LTE because you can browse/Higher quality streaming/download faster, thus making you use the internet more :p If you keep to your old habits, then it wont use more data.

Wondering if Vodacom had a bad batch of Note 4's. Know of several people with issues on it freezing/restarting/call issues

I have occasionally have the same issue. Even sometimes when i phone it is just quiet on my ear, but the person on the otherwise can hear me. Then have to reboot the phone to get it working again.

Thinking about it now, i haven't had the problem since my last uk btu flash.

Note sure if it has been covered, but for those that's missing the quick glance feature from the Note 3.. The Note 4 doesnt have it, instead there is an option to turn the screen on when you wave your hand over the sensors ( well anything will turn it on, just like quickglance )

It's under accessiblity->dexterity and interaction-> Air wake up

Works pretty much the same as quick glance, except if you dont use a lockscreen/pin your screen will turn on instead of the 5seconds it will be on and go off if you use a lockscreen/pin/fingerprint/pattern

Thanks for the tip Zenthrax!

Samsung really tried to cut down on the bloat but have removed some nice little features e.g. they also took Group Play out, mainly the whole Music Sharing part, so when my one of mates played music from his S5 to the other's S4s, S5s and a Note 3, my Note 4 couldn't, even when I tried diff versions of GP, although Group Camcoder worked flawlessly.
