Cash crusaders have air vent mounts for under R40 and I have one. It works really well.

Can also vouch for this. Only thing is moving it to another car becomes a shlep. That's why I got the air vent mount just to supplement it.

Air vent mount? Mind sharing a pic? with and without the phone if you don't mind.

Here's the link. The deal expired but I still got it for the same price in January. http://www.guzzle.co.za/specials/view/854786/

That's a Note 3 so I'm sure just about any phone would fit easily... One neat thing is like if you're using GPS, especially on a hot day, the aircon still keeps the phone icey cool. That's the biggest difference that I've noticed between this and the dash mount, were once you have reached your destination and remove the phone it would be dangerously hot from the GPS/processors + heat from being in the sun so long.

And for under R40 it's a steal.

Hi guys, I'm looking for a bit of advice regarding a new phone. My Note 3 miraculously disappeared over the weekend. I do qualify for an early upgrade and am looking at the S5 or Note 4. Any reason besides the size, why I should get the Note 4?

Better build quality, better screen, better battery life, S Pen, better camera

Stylus and apps that go with it.
It feels better due to being made of metal
Battery life (although I'm not sure about that anymore, the Note 4 battery life is seriously low compared to previous Notes)
Faster CPU and graphics (not that important, even the S5 is overkill for anything out there at the moment)
Camera has OIS.

My Note 4 battery is doing better than my Note 3 did.

Then there was something wrong with your 3..

Actually they both have pretty average battery life, the last one with huge battery life was the Note 2. You could get by only charging it every second day with regular use. The 3 and 4 absolutely have to be charged every day.

Unless you use the sooper dooper pooperscooper ultra power saving mode, but that just basically turns your R10k flagship into a R300 Nokia PEP special.

My Note4 has exactly the same usage as my Note2 had (7% per day - (8 hours at work) on a good day).

Just picked one up a Cash Crusaders for R33. Great find, thanks

7% per DAY?

Yeah I'm calling BS on that, or you obviously don't use the phone. Mine has been unplugged for 4 hours now and it's on 79%. Using a little Tapatalk and browsing, no calls yet today. Obviously the battery will last much longer if the screen is never on.
