Right guys, I'm in. Upgraded this morning and got the SM910H version from cell c. I haven't had time to play with it, still in box and yet to set it up, but I'm damn excited. When I get home, it's play time... Now just to read through the thread and catch up with what I must know...

I'm coming from a LG G2.... My Mrs has expressed interest in it, so it'll go to her... I've really missed Samsung, LG as good as they are, are not as polished and refined as Samsung

what covers and screen protectors have you guys got and more importantly where did you get them ?

i want a tempered glass protector with a slim cover (something that doesnt cover the screen like the flip ones)

takealot and kalahari have a little to no range of accessories for the note 4

Mine is in a see through Polycarbonate MUVIT slim case with a clear Muvit screen protector. I had a Tempered Glass protector fitted at 1st but the lady at Vodashop didn't do a good job and it began getting 'smokey' on the sides so I took it off.

Upgraded from Note 2 to 4, got it last night. Awesome screen, very quick (both the phone itself and the LTE). I had a capdase rubbery protector for the Note 2, made it a little bulkier but saved it plenty times. I love the look and feel of the Note 4 but I know I'm going to drop it at some point, wouldn't mind something similar.

Going to buy some apps for once (only used free stuff on the 2). I'm in no way a heavy or even very clued-up user, so going to comb this thread until I know everything :D

Not sure which is the best Internet app - I used Opera Mini and it was adequate - was slower than Chrome and the built-in one, but seemed to use less data (which is a big deal; only got 1GB data and infrequent access to wifi)...

You've had it for one day and it's already been "saved plenty times" ? Are you sure a high-tech piece of sensitive electronics is the right choice?

I was clearly referring to the Note 2 (which I had for over 2 years), which had a Capdase protector. I probably dropped it around 15 times (to me, that's 'plenty'). It looks virtually new still, never gave me any problems and I hope my daughter now enjoys it as much as I did.

I use a mix of Chrome and Opera Mini, Mini is fantastic, barely eats battery or data as you said.

Tech 21 makes a very nice thin but grippy slim case for the N4. Does not add much bulk but offer good protection.

I'm busy in the sticky 'apps' threads at the moment :D
And in all honesty, going to need more data - previous advice from this thread was 100% - LTE is flaming quick compared to non-lte Note 2 - MOAR DATA, MOAR DATA!!!!

Hey guy,

I managed to find the original Samsung Protector Cover+ (after many many days of searching!) for the Note 4 from Incredible Corruption (Nicolway Branch). It is listed as "Silver" but it is the black one as per the pic below:

It is a pretty awesome cover, fits snugly and protects the camera when you place the phone on a surface. I also installed the Body Glove Screen Protector - not a fan of the tempered glass ones.

I got my SM-N910F about a month ago and I'm loving it! Especially coming from my trusty S2. Battery life is awesome. Only experience some lag when switching from the camera to the gallery. Cannot wait for the Lollipop update, and I'm missing the CM11 interface that was running on the S2.

TLDR - Loving the Note 4!

I been having the same cover. It is awesome. Cant find a proper screen cover though.
