Used about 12 different snapdragon ones at clients/friends etc. They all complain about interface stuttering, random freezes, phone calls not coming through.

Doesnt mean every single one is the same, but thats why I added unfortunate.

i have Android 5.0.1 Lollipop on my N910F(Snapdragon ) ,rooted and flashed custom recovery .
to me , overall ,smooth no problems.No freezes .no stuttering/lag except "recent menu " still the same .(works smoothly)
bottom line ( to me ) same as 4.4.4 smooth, fast etc , except its running on ART .
Maybe others are just a bit "unlucky "?

Did you install the german release from sammobile?

I see 5.0.1 for the Note 4 has the same issue as 5.0 for the Note 3, no silent mode. It also seems like RAW is not implemented for the camera, really wanted that.

After treading your post i went to check about the silent mode, odd that they removed that function? Suppose vibration will have to do for now.

Are you guys using the German on the n910f? Also if I flash 5.0.1 can I go back to 4.4.4? That no silent thing doesn't sound leka cause I work shifts...

Thanks, it took me a while but I eventually found your post.

Some things I noticed in Lollipop so far are:

-Third party file managers can now write to Ext SDCard without root. Yay!
-You can change the background of the folders (Touchwiz)
-No RAW file support
-Pop-up notifications
-A new way of enabling "silent mode" (thanks kingrob)
-Montblanc doesn't work anymore

I know there are much more changes to discover, that will have to wait for the weekend. Still grumpy from having to wait nearly 7 hours for a 1.7GB download to finish on my pathetic MTN network.
