Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (fanbois only please, no trolls)

Anyone have an issue where the capacitive buttons stop working, only fixed via restarting the phone? I can press them and they light up, but nothing happens. The rest of the screen is also fine. Currently running Action Launcher, thinking of going back to stock for a week to see if the issue goes away.

I have notice this as well on AL3. Phone seems to idle for a few seconds and then is released. Maybe attributed to a memory leak. Not sure how to replicate so I can log an issue.

haven't seen this using AL3, but to be honest, haven't used it in a while. Got Nova material beta running.

From what I understand the Models that has the 1.6Ghz 8 core processor, models N910G, N910H, ect have this problem and apparently its something to do with the touchwiz

The other models that has the 2.7Ghz 4 core processor does not have this problem, model N910F and the Cat 6 models

I'm on a 910F

I'm going to wait until it happens again so that I know how many days it takes for it to lock up. Go back to stock launcher, and wait...

I know a guy that has the same problem and then he installed the CPU monitor app and found that it was his SP app that was causing the freeze

When you cut a certain part of an image via the pen, theres an option to export/save to scrapbook or share.

Is there a way to save it as jpg? I dont see the option anywhere.

Or if there's a replacement app for the S PEN's functions when the pen is removed, that would be great as well!

You referring to smart select, however there is the option screen write which will capture the screen, allow you to write and or crop what you captured and save it as a .jpg

I have the dreaded "Emergency calls only" problem again, (or still). On vodacom

It works after rebooting the phone :/ Have done a reflash of the 5.0.1 firmware a few months ago

Am running Nova launcher since day one (6 months now) and never had issues with capacitive buttons, try stock and see, or vice Nova a try.

If you suspect memory leak install Caulkins model Google play services apk. Which fixes memory leak issue. Search XDA.

I solved those problems using another modem for my galaxy note 4 n910F. The modem is ANK5 or ANK6 .
You have two options. Install full rom that includes that modem. Or install only the modem.
The easiest way is to install the rom below:

Try whipping Cache Partition, if that doesn't work, you may have to flash that whole ROM OR reflash your current ROM.

I flashed the standard bootloader and modem back again. I was unable to access the recovery.

Issue started since Lollipop, going to flash a custom 4.4.4 rom rather.

Has anyone found a fix for the Lollipop toast notifications at the top of the screen?

Now, apart from taking up half of the screen, when I tap on them, nothing happens and I have to clear them and go into the relevant app to see the message in any case
