The reason why Samsung would do that with same hardware version is to save costs rather than get even more versions of the hardware.

As for your Lollipop issues, I would definitely do a hard reset and start afresh.

I should be getting my Note 4 sometime this week. :D

Does anyone know if the Gear VR is still available locally? I see Takealot only lists the Gear VR2 for the S6.

So the Note 5 is a POS as expected, Fannie & co probably already have a thread about how much they luuuurv the awesome non-removable battery, PREMIUM slipperyness and shatteryness and INNOVATIVE lack of SD slot. They can just as well call it an iPhone at this point. Guess I'll have to get that Moto X Style if/when I need a new phone.

Oh Wise Note 4 fanbois...
Is a brand new SM-910F @R4000 a good buy in your collective opinions, or is it better to go looking for a 910C?

That is a bargain! Take it!
Apparently the N910F has better battery than the C, apparently the C has some DVFS bug.

I have a N910F since launch and have had fantastic battery life :)

Is there any fixes for the N910H (Note4) Lolipop camera bug ?

AhMQTVBA8OfkjC11QeXDFHzapGyekKIgPxWHzRw_49dq.jpg

Would take a photo and say camera stopped working ?

Then need to reboot as whole phone becomes useless...

Considering I paid R6.4k for a new S5 this week, you would be crazy to not take that note. You could probably make R2-3k on Gumtree by immediately reselling.

Turned out to be a fake.
IMEI on phone, software and box all differed, and stylish tip was metal on normal glass...
