Got my Note 4 on Monday after having used my trusted Galaxy S2, for about 4 years now. That phone has been rooted so many times its not even funny, but ja absolutely loving the phone so far.
Oh my word, that is one hell of an upgrade!

Enjoy your new beast, and welcome to the Note club! :)

I went from a S4 to Note 4, and that was a huge jump for me, so I can only imagine the jump from the S2 to the Note 4, was huge.

Enjoy!

In Pretoria, but looking more towards a 2014 note (note 5 would be nice actually though I'm pre-judging that it'll cost a small fortune)

Is it a lot better than 5.0.1?
Apparently parts of it are, e.g. the Recent Apps lag is completely gone and multitasking is better, also it now has the Note5 Battery Saving/Power Managemer and Memory Manager.

The UI is the same as 5.0.1 though, same look.

Sounds promising.

They won't. The N910H is meant for networks and countries with no LTE.

Why did you get the H anyway?
Because I bought it from TAKEALOT and it didn't say 3g only... Only after I got it, about 2 months down the line I noticed that its doesnt have 4G... I was very disappointed...

But long stoty short... The N910H is the exact same hardware than the N910C which has LTE.. Some even claims that flashing the H with C firmware unlocks the LTE, But im not taking any chances, it would be an expensive brick...

Ouch! Sorry to hear that man.

Yeah, Takelot also don't always point out specifics, when I was getting the Huawei B593 LTE Modem, as there were multiple variants of it, ended up going to Makro to get it.

Hi guys. Please can I ask for some guidance. Got a Note 4 for the wife it is a Vodacom branded phone and is LTE (910F). When I put in her MTN LTE sim it will pick up 4G but as soon as you make a call and end it the phone says Emergency calls only. It then doesn't pick up MTN at all. If I put in my Vodacom sim it works flawlessly. Seems that as soon as the phone drops to 3G for a call it loses connection to MTN. I see others complain of something similar is there a fix?

This may be the reason why MTN have the N910C and not the F.

The only possible fix I can think of would be to flash an unbranded N910F FW e.g. the very latest POF2 NEE (Nordic Countries) FW. Otherwise, rather turn LTE Off.

Is it maybe an old SIM card or the SIM card is not privisioned for lte ?
