No not really, just the resolution is the same as a 3 year old phone. So it should be no surprise that the Samsung beats it.

You're impressed with a modern, high tech camera beating an old-skool 8MP, technology from 3 years ago (which is ancient in phone terms)?

I think you do the iPhone 6 / + camera a disservice by referring to it as old-skool. In any event, I'm impressed that Samsung finally have camera software good enough (and tuned well enough) to take perceivably better photos.

Is anyone having better luck on MTN Preorder than me?

I filled in the form on 24th Sep. I received an email back with what I had filled in. You cannot respond to the email address - bounces back. No further email, call or SMS. I phoned retensions now (my contract ended a month ago). They say no stock is loaded but they should know by the 20th Oct and I should have a phone by the end of the month?

Sure I will have one by the end of the month, but it will probably be from someone else and not you...

I didn't make a pre-order, but the SO did. Got an SMS saying they'll phone before Friday to figure out all the details.

Maybe try phoning a branch directly? Sometimes head office folks are tools.

It doesn't, Note 4 uses a Sony IMX240 sensor, not ISOCELL.

Nope, iPhone uses a Sony sensor to, as far as I know the sensor is quite large to, not 808PV large but it's edging close to Z3 sensor size, but takes pics at a much lower red meaning the pics will be highly detailed, Apple always do a fantastic job with the camera ever since the iPhone 4.

Where did you hear/see that? AFAIK, Vodacom have N910F which is the Snapdragon 805 variant with support for LTE-A.

It supports up to 128GB, it's just a matter of what the phone was tested with or what card size was available at the time, people are using 128GB in Note 3s, S4s, Xperia Z's etc....
