I wish they would bring in something new...These days it's all about more processing power, more RAM, more Mega pixels etc. There's nothing new. I still have my S2 because of this reason and it's still very good I think...

I also played with demo there any specifically asked if for sale....... And he said yes, for new and upgrade contracts. Not sure about cash sale, didn't ask

Cool.

I also played with it at a Samsung store on Friday. Very impressive device.

Quite positive reviews overall:

http://www.anandtech.com/show/8613/the-samsung-galaxy-note-4-review

Only really negative one I've found is Arstechnica who felt it's a boring update. But Giz, Engadget, Verge and Anand all quite enthusiastic about it. Some feel it's better than the 6+, others are more conservative. I guess it's a bit of a tossup on preference then. The screen is a drastic improvement for sure; consensus is it's better than the 6+ display, although Anand detected some residual issues with the subpixel arrangement.

Glad to see that their review is out. Funny enough, I checked the site earlier, it wasn't up yet. Time to give it a read.

Called the Samsung store in Sandton and they very rudely told me stock is so short and they are selling it for R13999. Really?

Really really negative and very flat on the stand out features. Quite unbelievable. I was hoping to pick up a second hand note 3, then read the Android Central review who sold me on the Note 4 (not that I can afford it), and now read this hammering ... of what plenty would argue as the best handset available. I have spent every workday for the past year on Arstechnica and have seen the pattern. Even the Guardian have been enthusiastic, compared to their 2013 review of the Note 3.
