Samsung need to update their ADH apps, unless they are still debating giving the Note 4 ADH Premium rather than Core, I have no idea. I have insured my Note 4, so I'm good.

Clever man!! No tears. :)

I didn't insure my phones prior to my Galaxy S5, cos I would rather use the monthly premium to purchase another contract and use the other phone if something happens to my "main" one & then have a phone to sell after 24 months.

But the S5 is just a seriously expensive phone, and the Note 4 even more, so I also had to make the call to Santam and put my S5 under the yellow umbrella. :)

ADH served its purpose, especially when Sony and LG rolled in with promising handsets, ADH would swing a lot of customers' buying decision. It is a fantastic value-add service.

However, as with most free stuff, people tend to abuse the service horribly, instead of using it for its intended purpose.

Guys, I have a weird issue, when I use the Calculator it reads out everything I do, I have checked Accessibility and Talkback settings, everything is off, its very odd.

Could some of you go into the Calculator and check if yours does the same?

All I did was change the Android run time to ART earlier, but later went back to Dalvik.
It's strange as every other app is fine except Calculator, I hope it wasn't that Update I did earlier that's done this.

Is your Note 4 on the NJ4 FW to?

Nope. Nothing here. I remember something like this on the note 3. Think it had something to do with accessibility settings or something.

Yip. NJ4.

Check if you have any other apps with Accessibility enabled (Settings - Accessibility - Services at the bottom). Disabling LastPass here worked for me, but it is a PITA....

Excellent! Trust me, if anything happens to the S5 you'll be glad you were covered, when my S3 broke insurance paid me out, waited a month for S4 to come out and on launch day I strolled into Digital Experience 4ways Mall and picked up a black S4 cash, if I hadn't insured it I would have had to go back to my S2 after being spoilt by the S3's then large 4.8inch HD display and 32GB internal mem.

I know many who use these expensive phones without insurance, one would have to be mental to walk around with a +R10,000 device without insurance on it.

Thanks, but there is nothing in Services, very strange issue, a format will prob solve it but I'm too lazy, what I'll do is load an unbranded Euro FW at some point as I hate the Voda boot up logo and apps anyway.

No ADH Premium when you buy from Orange. Just be aware of it.

You can buy the phone cash from Vodacom Online, as Michelle said, for exactly the same price + get ADH Premium.

Hahaha, so basically after this comment everyone kinda just got over whether or not the phone actually comes with ADH? Basically, i just wanted to give you the cheapest place to get the phone. And as far as I remember, when i was working for cellucity and the samsung guys, ADH on the Note 3 (not s4) was applied to the samsung brand. No matter where you got it from, it came with ADH premium. Not too clued up on the Note 4 side of things. But yeah, just provided a link for the cheapest place to purchase the Note 4 and you can always just insure it, as many people just did :).

Has anyone tried to register it with the ADH Premium app?? That could answer a few questions... I highly doubt they'd put ADH core on their flagship device

Then surely it's still part of ADH Premium? I doubt you'd be able to register using the app on an S4...

I think there is a lot of debating going on at Samsung SA WRT which ADH now that the phone has started selling, maybe they will change their minds depending on how sales have gone this weekend and so on.

Also, the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus arrive this coming week, so I imagine the ADH story isn't quite finished, when they told us ADH Core on Wednesday nite many were like 'WTF!?' And the rep seemed to get a little nervous, they know they will get flack, let's wait and see, I have tweeted @SamsungMobileSA WRT ADH, will prob get a response tomorrow.

Seems Exynos is a bit faster in CPU, I've read the Snapdragon's GPU is what it has over the Exynos, but have yet to do any gaming benchmarks, either way, both Note 4 variants are beasts :D

Agreed.

Only the nVidia 192-Core Tegra K1 processor will put it to shame, but that's a story for another day. :)
