Samsung Galaxy Note firmware update

Hi guys,

I have a Note thats needs an update, but updating the firmware on 384k shaped uncapped is just not working. Is it possible for me to download the file from somwhere and then do a manual update? If so, where do I get that file and how do I do the update?

Edit: Ive found a European firmware. What do we use here in South Africa? Would that European one be ok?

the latest euro firmware is LA3 which would work fine.You could use fus downloader to download the latest south african firmware aswell.

Tried FUS. It doesnt have an SA firmware. Tried the UK one, but it always fails at 99%. Where else can I find a firmware like the stock firmware?

fus does have the sa firmware.it does not show it in the drop down menu.You have to enter your product code etc. then press check firmware.i'm currently using la4 and the battery life is excellent.

Enter *2767*4387264636# in your dialer for the product code and *#1234# for your software info.only do this if you are still on your stock software that received the phone with.
