Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 Review (MyBroadband)

As expected, KIES & Crapwiz ruins the hardware again - thank goodness for HTC. Makes more Sense. :D

I'm also suspecting that the super duper amoled screen suck the battery dry in no time. My Desire HD lasts almost two days, so not very impressed with the Galaxy 2.

Next phone for me will most probably be the HTC Evo 3D, otherwise I'll wait till the end of the year for the quad-core phones.

Just goes to show what a troll you are. AMOLED uses less power, since it turns off all the pixels for the black areas. Go troll elsewhere. Your posts are lame and obvious.

That was my opinion after reading Jan's review.....did you actually read his review?

It looks more like you're the little troll trying to keep anyone in check on this thread.

Unfortunately that's not Jan's observation. Maybe you should READ his review twice and comment once.

I'll second that. My mind still isn't made up between the two.

I have, lol. And I still haven't made up my mind, it's so frustrating!

I have 2 weeks until my contract is up, if MTN stock the GSII and not the Sensation, I am taking it. If they stock both at the same time (roughly) I will do more research and make my final choice.

The Galaxy SII comes with Gingerbread OTB. It's about time the Galaxy S was updated. I'm REALLY looking forward to that. And I'd LOVE to try out the SGSII.

I read all the reviews. Any idiot who can google "AMOLED + battery" will quickly find out that those screens uses less power, since it can turn off pixels, unlike LCDs. Not surprising you didn't know this. All you do is troll. Jan's review said that he practically used everything on the phone in the short time he had it, so obviously the battery will not last long. But go on... troll your boat, as you usually do. I'm not the 1st person to encounter this.

Well, looking at this thread, I can understand why you are trolling here.

Your rude comments in that thread is past trolling - you actually attack anyone that says something bad about the SGS 2 and badmouth anyone who suggests the HTC Sensation as an alternative.

Do you work for Samsung SA?

I am obviously impressed with the SII and that's the phone I'm getting. I've done extensive research since it was first announced in February, that includes tons of reviews that I've read and watched, so I know what I'm talking about. You on the other hand just say things because they are not a HTC product. That has been happening for months, especially in the HTC Desire HD type threads.
Anyone who says they are not impressed with the SII is defnitely a troll. No matter who you bat for, it's an awesome phone that has everyone raving. Your HTC Fanboism has been apparent for months, so it's no suprise you knock down Samsung at each and every turn you get. That's all I'm going to say about that.

So...then Jan, who wrote the review, is a troll as well?

He said the battery lasted less than a day, the mail app is terrible, KIES still sucks...the list goes on.

I fully agree that the Samsung Galaxy S 2 has got some decent horsepower & the amoled looks awesome, but Samsung's software is crap and most reviewers say the phone is too light & plastic to have a premium feel.

If you've set your heart on something and get facts that suggests different, always stay objective.

Good looking machine. Wish it was upgrade time for me :(
