Hey, I initially posted this in the Galaxy s2 thread - but didn't receive any feedback at all - that thread seems to move fast. I've scoured the web and I've yet to find a solution - seems to be a common problem with the phone ?

Whenever the sun's out and it's bright my camera gets this pink spot right in the middle when I take pictures, shows up quite prominently when I take photos of white things.

I was wondering if anyone has encountered this problem and has any tricks/solutions to fix it. I've tried cleaning the lense and looked for camera firmware updates but couldn't find any.

This video I found on Youtube illustrates the problem I'm having: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QznuN_ZUh-A

Some suggestions/tips would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely no one answered because this is a problem with all camera phones, not just the S2. Other phones can have a greenish spot etc.

There is no fix for this, some people are lucky and dont have it, some people change firmware and state they dont have it, some people update their camera firmware and state they do not have it. Read up on XDAdevelopers if you want more info.

Yeah, I kinda gathered that from my searches. Maybe I should have had it replaced while I could. I guess I'm one of the unlucky ones.
