they are pricey, but at least with them you know you are getting an original. I order a battery once from a dude on bidorbuy, battery lasted a couple of months before it started swelling up, and it did look legit enough.
Yeah I see they are about double the price of the ones that are on sites like bidorbuy etc. I don't mind paying extra for an original battery. At least I know it will last. Why did you get a refund though? Battery no longer needed?

my phone needs a motherboard replacement, and I can buy a second hand one on gumtree for cheaper than to replace it.

I've still got my original battery and the extended one, both originals and they both are still in great shape. Not selling them though

That's fortunate
I also have the extended battery, but I think the car charger messed both my batteries up. They both run down fairly quick with almost no use.

I struggle to use my S2 lately, it's just so slow compared to my G2. Anyone recommend a fast, clean ROM for the S2?

But nowadays the phones are becoming too expensive, I have insured mine and have a Nokia cheapie as backup.

Specified it on my household insurance - Santam.
They are much cheaper than the service providers.
My S5 is insured for R7699 and monthly payment is R83.
