No ... unfortunately not (That is if the "he" reference is actually me)

My impressions
I found the look and layout very nice indeed.
I like the integration of the notification bar with the wallpaper very nice (bit of a colour difference because of years of LED burn - but acceptable nonetheless
I am not sure if I like the System settings layout, but it is the same on other Sammy devices
The opening of apps are slow
The screen transitions are not smooth in the least (felt like I am back on GB the phone came out with)
Opening the app drawer is not quick either
The pull-down notifications messes around with the shut off button
... and other problems.

I am glad I made a nandroid backup of NeatROM. Restored it and happy again!

Ok, very detailed feedback - and I agree with most of the points raised....but I really really like the look of the S5 on my S2. :)

I guess I will have to try out NeatROM; just to be fair.

NeatROM can't get the notification bar to the same standard as WizzedKAT, but I use Nova Prime as a launcher and hide the notification bar. Admittedly I am using v5.9 lite and should probably upgrade to 6.3 - they might have sorted it out.

If NeatROM is based on 4.4.2, you should be able to get a transparent notification bar.

I installed CM11 - what a mission! What a great ROM. Smoothness similar to NeatROM although the latter might be slightly better, but not enough to go back.

And Resurrection Remix?

I used that for a very short while about a year and a half ago, but like you I always went back to stock. It was a great ROM and probably still is. It is worth worth a go. You won't be disappointed I'm sure.

Why was it a mission? Just install straight from cwm and you're done.

Do yourself a favor and try out the Google launcher if you haven't already, it just makes the experience even smoother. I find it faster than the stock cm launcher.

First I had a bad download. Got errors. Then because I had NeatRom as my driver and CM11 didn't like that and gave me System 7 error. Then I had to get CWM suitable for KitKat. So here is a pro-tip: I you go to CM11, get the correct CWM for KitKat for your device, Gapps for KK and the correct CM version for your device prior to flashing. :D
Yeah yeah... Shït I should know...

EDIT: I will give Google launcher a go. Currently using Nova

Been playing with both Google and Nova launchers. Equally smooth for me but because Nova has more features I like, I will stick to it

Very well :D

I like simplicity and find Google launcher just does what it needs to and has no unnecessary features I'll never use. I'm also way too used to sliding over to Google now to change, keeps me updated with all my sports games now :D

I don't use this phone that often anymore. It doesn't even have a sim in it, so there is no use for Google Now on here. But I still think it is a very good launcher

You need to give WizzedKAT more respeckt.

It's the Bee's knees.

Will give it a bash sometime this weekend. Having to use another kernel seems like a lot of work at the moment.
Yes I am that lazy :D

Why do you prefer it more?

Bare minimum needed for a great rom. Love the dark theme as well. Dev features need to be enabled and aren't on by default; a big plus for me. I like it :)
Bought the phone from a friend for R400
Nice way to get back into the Android experience.
Found CM10.2 kinda laggy, might try CM11. And this NeatRom.

Me too!

If you like the Google Launcher and have Xposed, you should definitely check out xposed gel settings.

I'm also using Resurrection Remix. The camera works fine, I don't have any problems with it.

Flashed the official Samsung 4.1.2 XFA ROM back on my S2.

Could not be happier. :)
