Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra

Anyone see a update on trade in prices or was improved reneg8e just wishful thinking ?
I think they are still recovering financially from last years deals.

Lol yes i definitely am. I have been to the Istore and I'm getting almost 8k for my S22 which makes the Iphone 16 Pro Max a Viable option

Thanks really good selling online you should get 5-6k, S24 at R 14.5k seems like the best option. Assume the trade in is only on the latest models ? Iphone 16e could be a decent option

Whats the thinking in going this route? Is it if buying the phone cash from a place that doesnt give a trade-in value on the old phone? Vodacom and MTN are giving up to R10k on contract deals.

You can use phonetrader (Probably best option) and webuyphones, there are also a few shops in malls that take 2nd hand phones but you are probably gona get 1-3k depending on the site.

I have used carbonite in the past best bet to sell anything 2nd hand in SA.

Real question is what is the best/cheapest deal I can get from MTN / Vodacom? I currently have the superflex contract from MTN so get unliminted minutes and 10GB data for R 299. If I sell my phone for 5k and buy a s24 for lets say 14.5 its 9500 net.

9500 / 24 = +- R 400 + 300 for airtimes its R 700 a month not sure MTN can match that ?

After about a month of use , I can say, this is a very good phone.

absolute no issues .

I came from the S22 , it really feels like an upgrade , not just a new phone

i don't really want to argue with you but lets wait for One UI7 to hit the S22 range and then see what it does vs the S25 Ultra to make statements like that .... a fresh new operating system vs an older one on an older phone makes the difference seem like chalk and cheese but the same operating system on both phones could possibly just show you that the only actual difference is only speed related

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is getting a new color option
