Samsung Galaxy S4 stock (un)availability

So I'm on the waiting list at Cell C Century City for the Samsung Galaxy S4 and I called them on Friday (the 3rd) to check if I could come pick up my phone. I was informed that they still hadn't received their allocation of units yet. How ridiculous is this?!? A mate of mine picked his up on Saturday morning on the 27th of April (release date) from the V&A. How is it that the V&A has received their units but a store at a relatively high profile location like Canal Walk still hasn't received theirs?

Has anyone else been told that their local stockists haven't received their units? Trying to ascertain whether this is a Cell C issue or their courier's fault. Bottom line is... I want my phone!

Vodacom doesn't have stock either. I called Century City, Green Point, Claremont, Kenilworth Centre & Waterfront branches on Friday and no-one had stock. All said that they'll get stock this week, but couldn't give me a confirmed date.
Just picked up one at the Golden Acre branch about an hour ago.

to save you all the trouble, Iv phoned all 17 CellC stores listed on their website, no stock anywhere. the wait continues...

Thought about phoning Nashua Mobile and porting to them? Same deals and they will search country wide to find you a phone.
