You can flash stock boot animation if you download it from the Omega files app.

The boot screen is not a big issue. It's more the Vodacom bloat that I don't like. In thought if I'm flashing a rom other than the Vodacom rom it would be gone.

I will have a look at that. I'm looking for something close to the original Android because my wife will probably use it.

I prefer rooted stock Android but I felt it wasn't taking full advantage of all the phone's features (camera mainly) so I switched back to a Touchwiz ROM

Wifi, auto brightness, browsing, whatsapp, clash of clans.

I have a profile that limits the CPU to 1.5GHz when the battery drops to below 40%.

People for some reason dont like TouchWiz, i think they are just nit picky.

For example... Since 7am when I woke up (battery on charge, so 100%) until now, 07h30, the battery is now at 90%. That's just from a few whatsapp's and a bit of tapatalk browsing. Is this normal?

Do you know what is the lowest safest max cpu speed I can set on the I9500 without it dying or anything?

The blue line under the graph hints that your phone is not going to sleep. By the core services appearance, it's probably a Google app. Before you start digging into wakelocks, try turn Google now off if it is on.

Ive found mine to charge incredibly slow via usb, but when plugged into a wall socket it gets enough amps to charge fully in a very short time.

It will always charge slow via USB. It doesn't provide a lot of juice vs using the power outlet. Most phone are like this.

USB port spec is about 500mA max. The charger does closer to 2A.
