So glad I waited out and didn't get the exynos S4 yet, this Google S4 is very good news for the Snapdragon S4 I think. And has definitely swung me in favour of the snapdragon version, no more infinite waiting for updates.
Not entirely sure that it will be the snapdragon version, but I guess the LTE support points toward that.

Wonder if there will be a HTC One Google edition as well?

+1. 'Google unveils Samung Galaxy S 4 running stock Android Jelly Bean'
Surprised, but pleased.

This makes the S4 a far more compelling option for me. I assume porting the (source) code to the unlocked intl i9505 (which we should get) will be a no brainer. More importantly should guarantee the feasibility of STABLE CM10.1, CM10.2 & eventually CM11 in the future.

I bought a tiny usb charger too paid freaking 250 for it from incredible but also 2.1 rated and charges like a boss.

Reason I bought it was because of how it looks in my car the head of the charger doesn't raise more than I'd say 3mm out of the plug. Neat and i leave it in the car as imo it looks better than a cigarette lighter.

Done the exact same thing. The ones I have are dual USB and with 2 sockets that gives me 4 x USB to satisfy the gadget families needs. :p

Being a non smoker they are perm fixtures in the car (also flat ones).

No, and yes.

Don't see the point of LTE in its current form though. Mate and I did some testing recently.
He on a Note 2 LTE in Durban. My on S4 in JHB.
Both of us got 8mbps down and 2mbps up. He beat me on ping though. 20ms vs 80ms.

I know we dont really have the infrastructure just yet to support LTE the way it should be but
planning ahead i'd like to have have the option of keeping the phone as an extra tether device
still a toss up between HTC one and the S4 but the i9505 ver.

Well I have flashed mine a few times now. If that counts? :p

Is there a counter or can you go back to original for warranty? Phone has been doing some weird things and I am not sure if its firmware or hardware related. Normally flash within first week but in this case I don't wanna risk not being able to go back to stock undetected

Has anyone found a desktop dock that can actually charge the phone and sync at the same time... all of the ones i've seen had one usb input that you can plug into the wall charger or your pc's usb... but pc usb doesn't have the juice to charge the phone quickly...

Hi Mike,

Please provide detail of your car chargers if you don't mind. I need to invest in a dual one that can charge fast and efficiently.
I bought the single port Official Sammy one a while back to charge my 10.1 Tab. Need to upgrade to multi-device now.
Thanks
