Do a comparison between Note 3 and S 5, do your research since you will be tied on a 2 year contract.

Me neither. I like that the S5 is waterproof and has a 16MP camera but the Note 3 has that amazing huge display and the S-Pen. I will probably go with the cheapest one in the end

The "problem" is the Note 3 price has not dropped at all in the few months I've been watching it. If it doesn't when the s5 comes out then I just can't bring myself to get "old tech" for the same price.

Hopefully CELL C FNB have a great deal on it's way! Crossing fingers like they had with the Samsung S4 last year I think it was.

Also the $ vs Rand plays a very important role and at the moment the $ is way too strong, even if you had to important the phone yourself in the country would set you back easy R9000 with tax, courier etc.

Crossing fingers that there is a clearance sale on the Samsung S4, highly doubt it..

I see the S4 is going for about R4500 on eBay and the Note 3 for R6000

Cool, much the same as MTN then. MTN R20 more expensive but with 200MB more data per month and a 16GB microSD card.

Yup, but unlimited on the S4 is R1499 a month, and the S5 will most probably a bit more.

2GB will not last long with a full HD display.
