Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ pre-orders open in South Africa

I received a pre order invitation from Samsung SA by email. I find it strange that they're dealing directly with us (customers) rather than Vodacom, Cell C, MTN or Telkom Mobile. And no, I'm not in the habit of buying a new smartphone every year.
4gigs RAM on anything other than a Note seems overkill. For me, Asphalt on highest settings gets the battery hot, but barely reaches 2 gigs.
