Hey guys,
So my contract is expiring now and i'll be looking to upgrade. Telkom has the galaxy s7 deal id like

and at the bottom it says
"Download the Samsung Rewards App on your new device to redeem your Samsung Gear VR or Samsung Accessory Kit."
Has anyone had any experience with the Gear VR? is it a gimmick? I've got literally 0 experience with VR...

it seems the "accessory kit" is a wireless charger (EDIT: and clear cover) which looks awesome, something id actually use a lot.
anybody had experience with either of these?
I'm seeing on amazon that the gear vr goes for like $99 and the charger like $60
