Hi Blazin

Both those aren't bad cases, you will be surprised the UAG isn't bulky at all.
Take a look: https://urbanarmorgear.com/collections/galaxy-s7-cases/products/case-for-galaxy-s7?variant=14392744964

Hi Linuxman,

The UAG case hits all the right notes in terms of protection, but I'm considering something a little less bulky.
What's your thoughts on the Slim Fit Case by Spigen:

or the Slim Fit case by Verus:

Hi Dee,

Those corner cut-outs seem to be the solution to the lifting of the glass protectors most of us are encountering. Are the Spigen protectors dry or wet fit? I found something similar in dry fit format by I-Carez (no mention of corner cut outs though):

https://www.zeekonline.co.za/products/samsung-galaxy-s7-screen-protector-hd-3pack-i-carez

Do you reckon it will do the job? OR is the version with cut-outs what i should be after?

Hi guys

Just a quick question, has there been any consensus yet as to which tempered glass screen protector is best for the Galaxy S7? In terms of screen coverage, touch sensitivity, longevity? I've tried both the Body Glove and Energizer offerings and haven't been impressed at all.

Also which covers or cases are the most highly recommended?

Perhaps someone would be kind enough to suggest an ideal glass screen protector and case combo?

TIA
If u in jhb(lakeside mall) or dbn(gateway) there's a pop up store called clear coat they offer a suction like protection 360 degrees basically it's hard plastic wrapped around your phone so you don't need to get a cover you can keep your phone 'nude' this will set u back about 450 bucks but the nice thing is if the plastic ages and tears u take it back to them pay 70 bucks and they redo the coat for u

Alternatively you can use the liquid nano bodyglove it's basically a liquid u apply on the screen and over time it becomes a screen guard this is what the cell c shop tried selling me but that's 300 bucks might as well use the extra 150 and cover the back and front with the clear coat

Hope this helps

Ps nougat is awesome so fast so smooth even with the power limiting with the power saving mode

They're not R450 anymore, it's more like R700 at Gateway now. Pricey , but still going strong on my previous S7 flat that my wife is using.
Also, the fee to replace is not inline with Mobile Outfitters guarantee and should be challenged with the kiosk.
