Galaxy Z Fold 4 starts at $1800 so they reduced the price a bit.

How much is that in SA prices. 40K? What is the contract price pm. R2K?
I would never pay that price for a phone.

Not sure what the purpose of the flip is really. The fold is slightly understandable as you get screen estate with the fold, but the flip just seems like getting something that's going to break for no other benefit.

Meh, not buying the hype

Anything with moving parts and creases will break.
The fold in the screen will eventually wear.
That screen will cost more than the phone to fix or replace.

Stupid flash in the pan gimmick concept.

I think these phones have gone from gimmick to a compelling for certain use cases.

durability being a major concern stil.

But the silent killer of these are the tiny batteries. especially given the large screens. You better charge them up again during lunch time, otherwise these batteries won't last as long as the folding screens.
