If Samsung is supplying Apple with Processor chips, memory chips, NAND flash and display screens, and Apple continueing to harrass Samsung for infringement lawsuits, why doesn't Samsung stop supplying Apple?
Most of the components in the iPhone and iPad seem to be Samsung manufactured products, so there will of course be infringement.
See Apple trying to start manufacturing their own components, and then crying foul when Samsung start suing them for infringement of their component patents.

Because Samsung also makes a lot of money from Apple by selling them components. They took quite a hit on their stocks when Apple made that threat previously.

And it would be VERY expensive for Apple to enter the business of manufacturing their own components, as they have to license the CPU designs from ARM, then get into patent negotiations with the screen manufacturers, set up their own manufacturing plants, etc. It's cheaper for them to have Samsung do all of that, then sell them the end products.

If Samsung stopped supplying Apple they would lose out on profits. These lawsuits are never personal.

Of course, the flip side of this, and something I neglected to mention earlier, is that as long as Apple keeps on filing lawsuits, the relationship deteriorates. So when Apple starts to ask for favours, or preferential treatment, they would be more harshly treated than some of their other large customers.

Want to get a quick boost in production because demand outstrips supply? Sorry, we have contracts with other customers too. Please re-negotiate the contracts we have in place with you and file a proper change request, with penalties as indicated.

Want a quick bit of extra credit? Sorry, terms are non-negotiable, you will have to speak to a bank.

Want to change a detail on the manufacturing? See point 1.
