Samsung reveals new Galaxy smartphones in SA

I read this too quickly and thought that the dual SIM device and the 'rugged' device were one device - that would have been cool... Personally I am also somewhat skeptical of devices which have marketing material reffering to them as 'rugged'. I have cracked/shattered and replaced my Motorola Defy's digitizer three times! The underwater camera could be quite fun though :D

What's the price for the Grand Duos and who will stock it since the network operators don't sell dual sim phones

Just a pity it's SO big!

I actually like the XCover2, it will be perfect for my brother-in-law, as he is forever dropping and getting his phone wet.
 
Xcover is perfect for me...wonder what ****ty price it'll go for.
 
My brother-in-law has one of the Samsung ruggedized candybar phones. Since he got his all the farmers have these phones now. One of the farmers was talking on his phone while driving at 100km/h and accidentally dropped the phone out the window. It is still working just fine.

Has anyone heard anything about this device being offered locally? I see there are 2 for sale on bid or buy, but no luck else where.
