Samsung S3 on 8ta restarting every 15minutes

I normally live in Alice where 8ta is roaming on MTN network and I have no problem. I arrived in East London yesterday where the phone isn't roaming but once every 15minutes it displays a 'SIM card refresh' message and restarts and it's driving me nuts. Is there a way to disable this SIM refresh because now my phone is unusable.

It should be manual network selection on your phone. Select either 8ta or MTN, depends which one works better.
