Hi All
I would just like some advise on where to further take this issue of mine. ever since I got my new Samsung S6 and the new SIM to go with it from MTN I cannot make any calls. data works fine, sms's works fine, receiving calls works fine.
I have searched for possible phone settings that might be blocking outgoing calls but have not found anything yet. I suspected MTN but no one has been able to help me.
The phone does not ring, it instantly ends a call I am trying to make to any number. The phone displays "conditional call forwarding active" but to my knowledge this is unrelated to the issue and merely says it will forward incoming calls if I am already busy with a call.
I have switched off and deactivated all the possible MTN forwarding features with the appropriate MMI codes, such as ##21#, and it changed nothing.
Should I grab the pitchfork and torch and storm my nearest MTN store once again, or could it possibly be the phone that is faulty?
I will put my SIM in an appropriate phone asap to test that, just wants to know if anyone has experienced this as well.
Thank you in advance
Christo Steyn
