I have a Samsung SCX-3405F printer

Is there a way to make it a network printer?

Or to print to it wirelessly?

Any guidance or assistance would be greatly appreciated

1.Connect to computer via usb, and share it in windows on your network
2. Some routers will also allow you to connect and share using their usb port
3. Buy a print sever device, and connect that to your network. Cost about R700, so maybe not worth it

Thanks :)

I checked and my router doesn't have a USB port that I can connect it to

I don't want to leave it plugged into my laptop either as want to move the laptop around

Before I investigate the print server device option, I have a Linux NAS server

Can I perhaps try install it on there and share the printer from there?

If so, any ideas how to install this printer on Linux?

Thanks. I saw one on TakeAlot which looks like a good option but want to try first install it on Linux server and see if I can make it a shared printer

What details on the Linux version? You can use CUPS

If it's a NAS, then a lot of the network protocols should be already installed.
