I'm having a little hassle setting up a Samsung U700 in Vista Home Basic to use as a modem.
I've tried the connection string "AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","internet";" with the dialed number as either *99# or *99***1#. They both connect, but neither one lets me browse the net.
I've installed the PC Suite for Vista off the Samsung site, but it refuses to work. When running the PC Suite, it gives me an error about some Server being busy. If i run the connection manager/wizard it gives me an error about the com server being unable to register.
Has anyone gotten a U700 to work with Vista as a modem? If so...how?
