They most likely complaining because they just plugged the darn thing in and left it like that. Just set the colours to your liking using the LCD panel controls and your video card colour settings. The HP 19" LCDs we have here look pink until you fiddle with the colours a bit. If you really want to go ape then find a colorimeter, but they cost a couple grand.

Yip, a lot of people never bother to work out the settings best suited to their preference and environment.

Just one last thing some people are complaining that the T260 has got a blueish hue when it comes to images...can anyone confirm this?

I can confirm that this is true, if left at factory default settings, even more so if you are used to viewing a different monitor that is set to run at a warmer color temp. but it only takes a while for your eyes to adjust to the t260. it will look harsh at first. right now, after some tweaking, the display on my t260 looks much more 'natural' than the 2333 (which was also a big improvement over the 2232)

OK cool I think I'm going with the T260 from what I saw in Incredible Connection (Cresta) but I'm definitely not buying it from there (R4000:eek:) Just one last thing some people are complaining that the T260 has got a blueish hue when it comes to images...can anyone confirm this?

Strange when I bought the T260 it made my other monitors look like they had a blue hue so I reckon its just their setup.

The T260 is pure awesomeness, games have never looked this good.

The resolution is better for productivity.

Who cares about a 60pixel black bar at the top & bottom of the screen anyway.

The only black bar you need to be concerned about on your screen is the one that suddenly goes from the 1st line to the last. I reckon you have a problem then.

Well your 2494HS won't be a hard sell, that's for sure. :D
Looks like Samsung hogs the market for most sought-after LCD panels. :D

That's the normal going rate it seems. I'd really love to know how these places manage to get those prices. Best I can even do on that in CPT is just short of R3.5K. :(
