Bombshell incoming... oh... wait..
iu

Unlikely, he was present at the Capitol, there could be some nasty text messages that could bite him and possibly other senior Trumpets.

Jones was a central player on January 6. He was on restricted US Capitol grounds that day, riling up protesters, though he did not enter the building itself. He has rejected any suggestion that he was involved in the planning of violence, and claims he tried to prevent people at the Capitol from breaking the law.
Jones testified before the January 6 committee earlier this year, but he later said on his show that he repeatedly asserted his Fifth Amendment right to remain silent during the closed-door deposition.

"Could" being the operative word here.
There have been other claims before of senior people helping with the planning, meanwhile it was the planning of the rally itself. Same time, same date, but not the same thing.

Anyway, there were people live-streaming there that were forced to take plea deals simply because they were unable to prove they didn't rile up protesters. So it seems that the prosecutors do not have that high a bar to clear if they really want to nail someone.
On the other hand some people have been cleared because of video evidence despite entering the building.

If he had to repeatedly assert his Fifth Amendment rights there must be a bit more than simply witnessing the events.

Perhaps, or he simply did not feel like cooperating.

Dumb strategy.

He needs a lawyer who understands law. A civil case is not a criminal case but in the goose stepping world of distorted perceived Orangeman persecution, any court is a kangaroo court.

Not cooperating in a civil case leads to a default judgement.

Oh wait the Judge is on a crusade. Stupid me.

Fake news. Orangeman did not flush confidential documents down the loo. It's just normal business.
BigMac meals always clog up the plumbing.

The Fox "news" "anchors" and talk show hosts have a lot to answer for.
100% sponsored. At least 50% lies.
Worst - The unending spiels are against the best interests of everybody in that country. And it actually seeps out into the rest of the world.
Honestly that "news" service is a plague on this world.
As opposed to CNN and MSNBC?

Comparing actual news to "Fluffery and entertainment that no person would take serious"? Regardless of political leaning that's just hilarious
Claiming CNN to be "actual news" as much

not a follower of alex jones or know much about him, seen random clips of him. he mostly seems like a nutjob.

did see a clip of him saying last year one of his sources told him they are preparing for a big war in feb, not saying between who though, but i think he said he thinks it will be with china.

had a look at more of this court story and stuff around it after that, jeffrey epstein, clip. so funny.

it does really seem like this case was pre-set up to nail him, with how that judge reasons and acts, or how his own lawyer handles things. seems pretty suspicious imo.

Again, for the folks at the back, this case was just to decide damages in a *civil* case which he lost, all by himself, when he didn't comply with the court in the first place.

His antics in court last week didn't do him any favours either, so, if you're still wondering for who really nailed Alex Jones in court, the answer is Alex Jones.

CNN has never had to argue in court that they are not news, you being oblivious to this and having some kind of childlike opinion on the matter is a "you" problem that doesn't change reality fortunately
Oh look, another delicate mybb flower resorting to insults when someone does not agree with their world view, try harder.
Or maybe take some reading lessons.

Is CNN perfect... No
Is CNN problematic... certainly, in many regards

Is CNN on the same level of problematic as Fox... No, not even close

You're getting flak for your non-objective false equivalence, not your different world view.
