THE South African National Roads Agency Limited (Sanral) has gone on a charm offensive and distanced itself from any whiff of scandal that its controversial e-toll project may have been mired in corruption.

Sanral CEO Nazir Alli tackled on Tuesday allegations by the Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (Outa) that the road agency had forked out as much as R11bn extra for the construction of the Gauteng Freeway Improvement Project.

Nobody cares about what SANRAL has to say. To the layman they have a credibility score of fsck all.
