Sanral didn't mean to mislead on e-tags

Sanral says that it was never its intention to mislead the public with its advertising – explaining that its just incredibly difficult to audit the exact figures.

And yet Outa managed to figure them out without direct access to the figures?

Well well well, each description contains "and might or might not include"... clearly they have no clue what their numbers represent and are just guessing. Either it's included or it's not, no two ways about it.

so much BS. what kind of kark system do they have that no one can write a query and get an answer?

Asa will only accept that if Sipho is an independent third party and an expert in the field.

The lies continued with some BS about the Auditor General only visiting them once a year. Internal Audit are there all the time and both the AG and management do rely on IA reports. IA would most certainly have reviewed the tag stock.

The system must also know which tags are activated because the simplest way to crash it would be to drive under a gantry with a boot full of devices that all response to the interrogation. It's also a simple thing to count the number of unique tags that have had a transaction in the last period.

If they are unable to determine the amounts per unregistered number plate one has to question how they do billing. And why isn't the AG camping there right now.

We might, or might not be speaking the truth.

"explaining that it is difficult to audit the exact figures"

select count(*) from database..Clients
where AmountPaid > 0

They were caught buttF@$#ing us, and now it's all excuses.... And still I'm not paying!
