Sanral will require R150 billion extra over next decade to make up for e-toll shutdown

We already pay billions in taxes and fuel levies etc... isn't this a ripoff ?

Oh no you won't ... all those decades before e-tolls existed you got along just fine, Sanral!
I agree, years ago, it was the national roads dept and they built the original beautiful road network using their allocation of income tax.. Since sanral, roads have deteriorated to the extent that many are totally unusable despite the huge extra amount of money from tolls.. Close the place down and fire all the useless hangers on right now.. Get it over with.

Not to mention all the millions EXTRA being raked in, that shouldn't be, as a result of all the diesel and petrol being burnt across the board by generators, because these goons cant supply reliable electricity.

Tell me you are unable to budget with out telling me you are unable to budget.

Or is this also part of their "plan".......

I recall about 4 years ago reading that the Stihl weedeater gangs cutting the verges get paid R38k/km.

Pay less grants and use that money

Oh, and I'm going to need a few hundred thou or so extra annually to makeup for my shortfall caused by paying a boatload of taxes to you goons every year.

So let's just call it quits and you lot piss off OK.

Fuel levies and we would have been done already. But no, the pos anc need to eat a little

Anyone who thought the fuel levies will fill that big tummies are sorely mistaken. It will take a lot more money....

Sanral will require R150 billion extra over next decade to make up for e-toll shutdown

The South African National Roads Agency Limited (Sanral) has told Parliament that lack of certainty around e-tolls could create a R150 billion funding gap over the next ten years, Sunday Times reports.

Sanral gave its warning in its annual performance plan last week.
Sanral, learn and rather quick, how to work with money and resources which is the cheapest in the long run, or money will stop falling from heaven eventually. Zero tolerence to any smell of modern corruption.---Free Up.
