Strong solar storm hits South Africa

The South African National Space Agency (Sansa) has warned that a strong geomagnetic storm is expected over the weekend that can disrupt communications and navigation systems.

There was also a small chance it might cause the reappearance of the Southern Lights over South African skies.

The fact that you can agree that we have way too many DSTV articles as a joke......is awesome......If only Mybb had the same dedication and motivation to give us great articles like "which female game character has the best cleavage" all will be right in the world......
Decent articles require people with a certain level of intelligence and in any case too many stupid people about, have to stoop to their level to catch their click.

Anyway... SANSA needs to be careful.
Looks fine to me:

Last time there was a geomagnetic storm it was cloudy AF where I am, maybe tonight I'll get to the Southern Lights

Will we actually see anything. Clear skies tonight

But wait there is more

Joburg getting more geomagnetic storms than thunder storms right now.
