SARS explains what happens to your taxes when you die in South Africa

The South African Revenue Service (SARS) has published a new <strong><a href="

" target="_blank" rel="noopener">explanatory note</a></strong> on what happens to a deceased person’s tax obligation.

Hmm, I have found SARS to be completely useless with deceased estates, they don't know their ass from their elbows.

They don't even follow their own rules.

Also, the fact that the Master of the Supreme Court has effectively ceased operations, make things even more difficult.

For example, just to get an Executors Letter of Appointment is impossible at the moment.

The staff are all sitting at home on full pay, nothing happens.

So, don't die right now, your dependants will doubly curse you.

Also, with the ANC in power, things may never improve, so there is that as well.

It is worth getting vaccinated just because of this.

You get milked when you're alive and you'll get milked when your corpse is burnt into ashes (or left to rot in the ground).

It's worse because they suck so much from these "transactions" that shouldn't give them free money "just because", phuck 'em. Preying off of the dead is not okay in my book and especially so when they're primarily doing it because they're a bunch of life sucking kunts.
