SARS question: Foreign national on temporary residence permit receiving foreign funds

Hi guys,

Is there any tax fundi, or do you know someone that is a tax fundi, specifically related to income tax on foreign gifts/donations for temporary of permanent residents foreign nationals?

There is a local R100000 tax free donations bracket per year, (receiving money as gift) but I need to know the particulars also apply for a foreigner on a temporary or permanent resident permit receiving funds from overseas as Zuptas will not get a cent of that.

So either it has to be within such bracket or come in as immigration funds. PM if you have a taxguy that is good enough to understand these particulars.
