South African taxpayers' gift of R300-million to Zimbabwe was a waste of money and some of it is being misused for the benefit of President Robert Mugabe's cronies in Zanu-PF.

Raise hands anyone who is surprised. Anyone? Anyone? No, I didn't think so.

Well done on wasting our tax money, again, South Africa. We have people starving in the streets here yet you can send aid to benefit Mugabe.

I really hope the (poor) electorate becomes aware of our country's actions before placing their 'X'.

I'm still working on my pamphlet drop over the townships. You'd be surprised how ignorant people actually are. Many people will say that these people with vote for the ANC because they were the liberation movement, the truth really is that they don't know better. So much for vota educashin :/

Well, not quite nothing. In return for the cash we've been provided with 5 million refugees.

"The SADC aid appears to have been well-intentioned but misguided."

No, it went according to plan, quite obviously..

"The senior Agritex officer from Mashonaland West, who spoke on condition that he was not identified, said SADC had tried to provide for fair distribution by not using civil servants such as those from Agritex to disperse it."

They knew that would not help, it would just make it look like that was what they were trying to do.

"The South Africans don't know how the system works. Not all of us are Zanu-PF. There are still a few professionals left in Agritex and we could have stopped this. The chiefs have to obey Zanu-PF even if they don't want to."

We know how it works.. Replace Zanu-PF with ANC.. Its quite simple
