Yeah, I'm pretty sure Christianity was adopted as the de facto religion in Europe because most kings and queens realised they needed a better system. This pagan thing was a bit messed up and when Europe was introduced to Christianity they quickly saw it as a better system.You attribute western civilisation to Christianity. If it weren't for the Christians Europe would still be pagan, killing each other and practicing human sacrifice to appease some tree.
