You attribute western civilisation to Christianity. If it weren't for the Christians Europe would still be pagan, killing each other and practicing human sacrifice to appease some tree.

Christianity is the reason why the 3000 year old middle eastern invention spread.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Christianity was adopted as the de facto religion in Europe because most kings and queens realised they needed a better system. This pagan thing was a bit messed up and when Europe was introduced to Christianity they quickly saw it as a better system.

If you read a bit about what the real pagans of the ancient world were up to, you quickly realise why the three religion that was opposed to it, gained so much traction.
