I figured I might aswell post this here. For those who don't know Savage: Battle for Newerth , this is a Strategy + 3rd person shooter. For the hype of the upcomming Savage 2, savage 1 has been made freeware and is available for download.
We have managed to get a local server from Gamezone (mweb) and the community has grown quite substantially in the past 3weeks. From about 3members to already +-40. After the December NAG issue there should be another increase in the community.
The game is superbly fun and addictive, where 1 player commander commands everyone on his team on the battlefield. Games go up to large numbers of 64 v 64 players. There are two races, beasts and humans who each have their own unique units and abilities. The game is very well balanced and the strength of the team is mostly decided by the ability and competancy of the commander.
I highly recommend this game to everyone, especially those gamers looking for something to play inbetween their regular games.
We have an IRC channel on irc.shadowfire.org #savage where everyone congregates and discusses. More info can be found there with regards to anything you might want to know.

You need to download the Retail 2.00e + SEP3T version
Then when you have installed everything you need to download the SEP3T++ patch, this is only 2mb though.
