Update:
Vehicle went back to Honda. This time they found that the passenger door was slightly misaligned. They only realigned the door and returned the vehicle. Tested the leak at home.... and it's still there. Noticed that the gap between the plastic moulding and the weather strip is a good few mills in comparison to the driver side door.

If all doors are closed and you try opening and closing the aligned door, it bounces back. Extra effort required to get it closed. As a freebie for the inconvenience caused .... they left scratch marks on the plastic panel that houses the button for operating the front passenger window. Not taking the vehicle back. They may suggest changing the spark plugs to stop the leak. I intend spraying the insides of both the front and rear passenger doors with a rust inhibiting coating to prevent rusting. and cut my losses.

This was one of the many negative experiences I had with Honda.

This is my first and last Honda.

As an owner of many a Honda (Jazz, Civic, Accord), I must be honest that I've never been impressed by their Indian models. Best to stick to the Thai, English and Japanese manufactured ones.

I feel they've actually done the brand in SA a disservice by making it so heavily reliant on the new Jazz, new Balade, Brio and BR-V.

THE END:

Me: Sent a complaint to Honda SA. One of my comments in the email was that after this rather frustrating experience I decided not to take my vehicle back to resolve this issue as I fear that more damage could done to my vehicle.

Honda Case Manager: Apologizes and then folows up with “Please, advise if you would like for the dealer to arrange another booking with the Panel Beaters for this to be taken care of, or will you fixing this yourself?”

Me: As indicated in my email - the risk associated with taking my car to this panel beater. I would resolve this myself.

Honda Case Manager: Your below response is noted with thanks.

Not even an offer to use another panel beater. I doubt the panel beater was ever contacted and most probably got paid for not having the job done.

He most probably was also peeved with my comment "If Honda is planning on continuing to maintain a presence in SA, they are going about it the wrong way."
