Used to be a great org. They kept their house clean. That was like 30 yrs ago. The formal building industry was regulated to a point with not too many barriers of entry, but you had to be knowledgeable in the building industry. Sure, we saw problems from time to time, but not too serious. People we stopped before things went too far. Building inspectors would make sure there were no safety issues, both from the municipality, and whoever was financing the building if appropriate.

Now? Don't know. The last time I built on, things we not checked like they would have years back.

I think it’s more about paying your subs these days. A little boys club.
