It not a fact but an assumption.
Oh wow. That is your come back OK

Well we donate computers and laptops to "black schools" each year just to get some stupid BBEEE points.
And I can assure you that the last two have zero white staff.

BRACKENFELL HIGH COURT BID TO HALT FURTHER EFF PROTESTS POSTPONED TO NEXT MONTH

Brackenfell High School’s governing body is seeking an interdict to prevent EFF supporters from demonstrating outside or near the school.

CAPE TOWN - Brackenfell High School's court bid to prevent the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) from leading any further protests at its premises has been postponed to next month.

Western Cape High Court Judge Siraj Desai last week dismissed the school’s urgent application to bar party supporters from demonstrating.

Violent clashes between a group of people and party supporters erupted a week ago outside the school.

The school had been accused of racial discrimination.

Brackenfell High School’s governing body is seeking an interdict to prevent EFF supporters from demonstrating outside or near the school.

Earlier this month, a group of supporters demonstrated over a private matric function to which only white learners and their families were allegedly invited.

EFF members returned to protest outside the school last Monday, it escalated into violent clashes.

In court papers, the school argues it wants to create an environment that is free of noise and violence, where examinations can be written and learners can arrive and leave the school safely.

The matter has been postponed until 2 December.

Why even still pursue an interdict??? It is not like the EFF would care either way as shown with Clicks. As things are standing now the school have gone into redress mode. I don't know what more the EFF can achieve here other than having the two teachers and principal pack up their belongings and leave, and that is not going to happen even though the SAHRC is exploring this at this time by having interviews with everyone within the examination window…

Odd, but without knowing why the case have been postponed it must be due to one party requesting a postponement which was agreed to. We know that the EFF was supposed to make their submission on Friday, but I guess they asked to have it postponed, which is ‘normal’ and may be due to several reasons.

Oh dear. Another Siya Kolisi...

And another company scoring to deliver diversity training.

WTF is happening?!

Being a kid back in the day and knowing how things worked, it is an odd statement,

The school’s first black head boy, Luvuyo Mose, spoke about how he and his peers were made to feel like they did not belong.

“We felt out of place, unwanted, like we were not supposed to be there,” he said.

Mose was head boy in 2014 and alleged he was denied the opportunity to be rugby captain even though his teammates had elected him.

“The coach said the team needed someone more senior. I was scratched out and a white boy was hand-picked by the coach. The racism at the school is and has always been swept under the rug, I am happy about what is happening because maybe now the racism will be dealt with,” added Mose.

in a big white school, a black boy managed to be voted in as the head boy, but he was unwanted? What I am reading is that he was sour not to make the rugby team captain. It is not racism, the coach picked a more experienced player which would suit the role.

In a country where BEE is promoted by the state and entrenched in our society, such empowerment is to be expected. Empowerment is a privilege and according to the state also a right.

I don't think people understand merit any more, and I have previously said this on Mybroadband.

In this case I don't blame Government. I blame individuals such as Kolisi and Mose for implying that Black People are always victims and second to all other racial-groups.

To borrow what @Varktjop said ...

Racism is the belief that groups of humans possess different behavioral traits corresponding to physical appearance and can be divided based on the superiority of one race over another.

He was head boy but cries racism because he wasn't made captain?

When I was in high school we voted for our prefects (SRC members) with the teachers having a final say because the popular students tend to get votes and sometimes these were not the best behaved students. If it works the same way at Brackenfell, both his peers and teachers were okay with him being made the head boy despite the school allegedly being racist.

Sounds like he still has a grudge because he wasn't made captain and now he can work the racism angle.

You will find this guy at the pub 30-years from now telling you how he could've been a Springbok if he was made school captain back in 2014.

In a country where socialism is at heart, only the idealists have merit.

As a Capetonian, Kolisi did work hard to achieve captaincy though I believe many would have wanted PSDT as captain, as did I, but they still went with Etzebeth.

I liked Kolisi as the Springbok captain, and I didn't see him as a token captain and to be honest we didn't have a quota team at the Rugby World Cup. Rassie's plan was well-thought out.

Yes, Kolisi did say things, but I am also sure it was to market the #StrongerTogether campaign. The exposure did well and helped in the townships, especially with grassroots, so it was a win to be honest. The world also liked it, except that our own people didn't promote unity.

I think Squidge shared the right 'world' view,

Anyway, going OT, the kid was sour. He wasn't skipped as captain, he didn't make captain.

School isn't for pissies.
Its not about your race, its because it is school and you have not developed your frontal cortex completely and deal with adults that are dealing with kids the whole day.

Schooling needs an overhaul.
I don't know what the answer is but you are lucky if you came out after 12 years with no baggage.
