Scott's Shipping Services - UNDER POSSIBLE LIQUIDATION

I thought Scott said all his companies were under the one legal entity (Scott Shipping Services)?
Didn't he also say that the battery company was a seperate business? I am confused by his flip flopping.

Says one thing then does the opposite. Promises more info here and then tell people to email him and then he just ghosts everyone.

I bet that he is here every day reading the posts and laughing at the people he screwed over who are complaining.

He specifically said he never got around to registering the battery business.

There were others too if I remember correctly.

And that the “losses” incurred by the battery business (hundreds of thousands stolen by an import agent or something) were why the parcel business was now going under.

The fact that he said he was going to clear the air but didn't says enough. He has had AMPLE opportunity to say something. Anything. Even if he needed a lawyer to read it first. This guys is going to have to come deliver my items to me personally with a bunch of flowers if I am going to believe that he didn't blatantly lie to us

Doubt it. He has been around for about the same time I have been on this forum. I think it was just one big mess after the other. If anything , probably readin and crying and feeling hopeless at the same time, regretting the decisions he made.

Really a sucky situation for everyone involved.

Well if his company wasn't under liquidation, it is now according to new thread title:

Scott's Shipping Services - UNDER LIQUIDATION

There were others too if I remember correctly.

I haven't taken salary or money from the business since Nov last year.

Reasons, not that they mean much or change anything:

1. Large loan June last year to order batteries, they're all sitting in the warehouse. That I also have to pay storage costs for.
2. Clearing agent stole several 100k from us by not paying our VAT and customs over in Nov last year, those were the delays in the beginning of the year. Loan to cover that.
3. Swine Flu, surgery and holiday: resulted in a backlog that we've now been hit with a massive customs bill that there is no cashflow to settle.
4. Informed Friday we have no recourse to cover the funds from the clearing agent, they did cut and run, lawyers bill on top of it.
5. Unable to pay creditors as of 1 Aug as a result of the above.
5. Meeting with auditors yesterday, legal requirement to liquidate as business cannot pay creditors, including the accountants.
6. Notice of decision to liquidate sent to creditors today and process started.
Everything legally still went under SSS, was planning to split it out but never got around to it.

Auditors told me yesterday to pull the trigger.

Sounds like a long con... Build up people's trust then screw them over and dissappear.
Seems like a hell of a lot of effort. There are easier ways to steal money. I am sure everything was legit for a while. Things probably got sketchy but instead of being honest he continued to take money knowing full well that the ship was sunk. He was busy stuffing his pockets on the way down.

If the business is truly being liquidated he will no longer able to speak for the business as control of the business is transfered to the liquidators or trustee and they will sometimes continue to trade while the liquidation process is underway. But who knows what's true at this point.

Well. Whether it is him or a liquidator or a lawyer someone needs to give some answers here to everyone who has had their money taken from them and nothing to show.
