Job Requirements:
Matric & relevant tertiary qualification
At least 1 – 2 years’ experience as a Scrum Master
Living in Stellenbosch or surrounds
High energy!

Daily duties:
● You will provide effective collaboration, facilitation and coaching skills supporting the development of their software applications for the development teams.
● You will be dedicated to multiple Scrum teams.
● It is essential to ensure that the key Agile values – commitment, focus, openness, respect, and courage forms the foundation of the team are central to the work you do.
● They are a small company, so all team members are expected to play multiple roles with primary and secondary responsibilities.
● Organize and facilitate backlog refinement sessions, daily stand-up meetings, review meetings, retrospectives, sprint planning and other Scrum-related meetings.
● It is therefore vital for the Scrum Master to own this process and to be able to communicate the progress and/or challenges to all role players on a timeous basis.
● This role will require a balance of knowledge, innovation, creativity, ingenuity and the ability to solve problems.
● Managing sprint backlogs, any other Scrum artefacts, team velocities, managing schedules and defusing conflicts are all part of the job.
● Coach Product Owners on how to document requirements and user stories and the interaction of these with the application developers.
● Co-creating/improving development processes/environment with the Dev manager.
● Build and maintain a sustainable innovative culture that developers can thrive in.
