First week of August. Straight from SE, when I went in for some technical support today.

From the pics it looks like they took away a big chunk of screen with that keyboard thats under the flap. Not sure I like that!

yes, but i like the idea of a keyboard thats permanent and not on a flap like the previous models.

they reckon its an optical illusion as to how much screen is lost... its actually only like half a centremetre or something... they have had to optimize the screen for landscape net surfing...

Like I said before, SE will launch it in Aug/Sep, (Still Speculation) then 3 months till we get it, and if you know how limited stock the SPs get with pda phones, it will be official end of Dec/Jan 07!!

Thats what I would have said yesterday, Today however I get a mail with the P990 on the vodafone dealsheet for July

O well I still Jan ps: myadsl admin people this wink smiley sucks!!!

In SA? Maybe, seems to be right if Vodafone has it on their pricelist for July, then Aug makes sense....

And Ill be stubborn on this one... Its Dec guy!!

Im a Big SE fan, but SE SA is one useless company, in terms of everything!!
They dont advertise on TV, their entire marketing sucks, but one thing pissed me off, the Techno Fair Last year at vodaworld, they had no models just these fat ugly girls

But anyway... theres a 2% chance you right bout the 2nd week in Aug

Theres alot of rumours around the P990, some say they gonna upgrade the cam to a 3.2MP cam but they have to launch their flagship K series first then the P990...
Others saying they still updating the S90 software...
Some say they giving time the application developers to develop software for the S90 as soon as its available...
I do know they have a Satelite app built in with live GPS pics available...

But whatever it is, we dont really know for sure, they are however losing out to Nokia at the moment....
