I find it funny that Neo(next few weeks)tel never give concrete dates or even a idea of when they are actually going to start doing things.

Well I hope that Ivy can now take a rest seeing that both cables are majority owned by African nations.

It still makes you wonder, did she know this all along? Is there some other hidden agenda?

Government want their stake/control in Seacom, thats all there is to it. They were caught off guard when Seacom suddenly had a deal with Neotel and they didnt have any fingers in the Seacom pie...Thats when they hastily came up with this "cables must be locally owned" bullsh!t.

I'm sure goverment are negotiating their slice right now :sick:

Is it still corruption when everyone knows its happening and everyones in on it?
