Corporate greed because the company wants to make a profit? Uhhh ok.

ISP's are not forced to use SEACOM for anything so why are they whining?

Once again this comes down to what you have the right to do, as opposed to what the morally correct thing is to do.

This is how a company goes from being the darling to the devil.

Who knew you could get such great free publicity by shooting yourself in the foot?
Yeah,

Maybe they will find another limb to shoot in a week or 2.

This one: Hey look you can approach seacom as an ISP.

They were peering in 2018 and made a profit. Something else went astray inbetween, but not peering costs.

Don't know whether I'm speaking to the person they were quoting or the journalist, but "incongruous" is not the word you were looking for. Try "incongruent". There's a difference.

yep. Also called "respect" for the client. As opposed to "to hell with the clients, fleece them".

Then you have the likes of these massive organisations (Google, Microsoft,Apple,Netflix,Amazon) direct peering with the small ISP (100 -3000+ subscribers)

Explain that Mr Clatterblock , they are not of equal peer in nature, but hell they peer.

You plan will backfire in gaining more customers and more profit, no one wants to associate with a bully in the industry, Are you going to be at Africa.Com in November. Oh the poor staff manning the stands
